Last night I decided to throw a leg over the road bike and get in my second ride of the week. It was a mellow 21-22mph ride for the most part, but I did throw in a few harder efforts. It's amazing how much a hard effort feels when you're not done one for 2-3 weeks. Not super pain, but a different feeling for sure!
I rode through Waikiki, around Diamondhead, through Kahala, out to Sandy Beach, then back to town. On the way back I threw in some one-legged efforts at 28mph to work on a muscle imbalance. Next year I'm going to be racing with two legs at 100% vs one at 100% and the other at 75%!
Apart from the semi off-season without a lot of biking, I've been having fun with rolling dice on the nasdaq, and I still have the shirt on my back!

Enough profit to buy a plate lunch or two.
