    Pali loop

For tonight's ride I decided to do a Pali loop. I went fairly hard climbing up the Pali, ripped the descent at 140rpm, then cruised through Waimanalo at 25mph.

    Waimanalo.

I set an interval on my SRM from the sea life park to the top of Makapu'u and averaged about 490w, then rode tempo back to Diamondhead. The sunset was looking nice and it's been months since I've stopped to take it in

Not the best sunset ever, but it'll do!

I went to the Apple store at Ala Moana tonight looking for some new earphones. Then I started playing around with the iPod Touch... then the iPhone... The iPhone was $100 cheaper than the Touch so I'm not totally sure what the differences are other than the iPhone also works as a cell phone. Hmm. I want something with more memory than my Shuffle for MP3's, but was getting tempted by being able to check emails / internet via WIFI too. Decided to escape the store before money burnt it's way through my pocket! The Apple store IS evil!!!

I guess this is the difference:

The iPod Touch is slimmer and lighter than the iPhone. It lacks some of the iPhone's features: access to any phone network, an internal speaker, a microphone, a camera, physical buttons for volume control, Bluetooth capability and Assisted GPS. The iPod Touch uses software-based volume controls which require users to double-tap the home button, bringing up an on-screen slider.
