Wednesday turned out to be a pretty good day. The worst part was waking up at 0530hrs for work... I'll never be an EARLY morning person. If I didn't set an alarm, I would never wake up that early! Work was busy as usual, plus we hit a fairly big project milestone which came with a dose of job satisfaction.

After work I managed to thread the needle through Honolulu's traffic without the road rage fuse being lit. No crazy training, no intervals, no almost run-ins with tourists / cars / animals... Just an hour spinning out at high rpm's to recover the legs between harder training days. Sometimes it's nice to just get out there and do an unstructured ride, plus it gave me time to focus on riding in the drops - My habit is to ride on the hoods all day long.

I got home from my ride, had a quick shower, then headed over to the preview showing of Step Brothers. Holy sh*t, that is a damn funny movie. It quite possible ranks #1 on the laugh-per-dollar scale. Any movie where Will Ferrell t-bags his step brothers drum kit is going to spark laughter... and cringes!
