After work on Wednesday, I wasn't 100% sure what training ride to do... I'd narrowed it down to doing a Pali loop, and considered going counter-clockwise... I rolled out the door and choose to go right, meaning a clockwise loop, so I did the exact same ride that I did on Tuesday evening. I got to the top of Pali in exactly the same time as the previous day (to the second!) and the whole loop was only 24sec slower. How's that for consistency. I really didn't feel like I was going to be maintaining 300w after I made it over Pali, but I guess I found the power somewhere. If I had an 11t on the rear I could probably have averaged closer to 310w as I lost a bunch of watts going down Pali spun out in the 12t. Going up the Pali in the 24min ballpark then trying to spin a 53x12 at 145rpm is not the best combination.

SRM files from Tue (bottom) and Wed (top) rides - Almost identical.
