    Going wireless...

Finally, I'll soon be going wireless on my SRM setup. My current SRM has a new home, and I should have a new wireless SRM on my R3SL sometime in the next two weeks.

    The new SRM Powercontrol PCVI.

Why did I change? I hate cables / clutter... When an SRM cable is $65+ a pop, breaking those gets expensive! Mount them as neatly as you want, but all it takes is a tree branch / wild chicken in the wrong place at the wrong time to kill a cable. Another plus is that the new Powercontol (SRM display) has a whole host of improvements / features:

    - Wireless (and can still be a wired setup)
    - Integrated altitude measurement and storage.
    - Significantly increased storage capacity of 1054 hours (!) with PC VI at a storage interval of 1 second (before: 6.2 hours with PC V).
    - Integrated USB interface, meaning it is possible to charge the battery directly by attaching it to the computer.
    - New icons on the clearly legible, high-contrast display improve functionality during training.
    - Simplified menu navigation.

    What's not to like!
